May 19th: 1536 Anne Boleyn is executed at The Tower of London, and the same day many many years later, I take it upon myself to visit this popular tourist destination.

History and famous stories through out time are quietly kept within the walls that surround the site of the Tower of London. Strolling through the site I am overwhelmed by exactly what has taken place at this site! Photos below include the execution site for many of King Henry viii wives, and other traitors. You can also see the Crown Jewels and where the bodies of Anne Boleyn and others. At one point the Tower of London also housed a Zoo. A absolute must do for those visiting London, but who live here also.

So I believe that to be considered knowledgable in a subject matter you need to know what others are saying and doing also.

Therefore I want to share a few other blogs that are hands down doing it better then me.

This is a blog of a couple, both in there 30’s who have been fortunate enough to travel for a good few years now. Each a qualified photographer and journalist I think this is pretty good fundamentals for a killer blog. Check out their blog beersandbeans.com/about-us/

I have lived abroad now for a good number of years, calling many different countries home, however it never acoured to me recently that while London is where I am proud to call my latest home, I have not yet chosen to write about it. Now there are any number of blogs out there on London – this is not going to become my focus by any means, but from time to time, ill let you in on what it is like to live in this city.

First up, walking. I took a stroll from Brick Lane to Ally Pally (Alexandra Palace) and had the most fantastic day. London is actually full of many lush green parks and of course the graffiti is for ever changing. I hope you like this small selection of photos.
